Welcome

My name is Mira Hailu and I live in upstate NY. My photos reflect the areas I’ve visited in New York and otherwise. I am 20 years old and just now beginning to realize how much photography has to offer. Before I would simply take pictures to capture the moment, but now I understand it is much more- it is art and this website of my work shows me exploring it through an artist's eye. I found the work of Alfred Stieglitz to be inspiring. To me there is a certain realness, associated with his work, that draws me in. I, too, like shooting raw, truthful moments, so I found his work to be very encouraging.
